Verde Island is a strait that separates the island of Luzon and Mindoro, connecting the West Phil Sea with the Tayabas Bay in Quezon and Sibuyan Sea, Romblon. The passage sits at the center of the Coral Triangle, known as the “amazon of the seas.”
It is extremely rich in marine biodiversity, the riches area in the coral triangle and scientifically-backed as the “center of the center of marine biodiversity”.
The Commodore’s Cup Regatta 2018, was also organized by SSC with starter at the Beachfront of the Lighthouse Marina Resort last April 3-7 with 18 keel boats.
